Field Trips

The Pre-K class incorporates several field trips into our program to enhance learning. Some are in school and others outside. Our typical year includes the following "field trips":

• Firefighters (in the classroom) - October - to emphasize fire safety
  
• Heard Museum - late November while studying American Indians and Thanksgiving
  
• Tempe Library - November to reinforce letter "L"
  
• Peter Piper Pizza - January or February while learning the letter "P"
  
• Mesa Dinosaur Museum - late March while studying all about dinosaurs
  
• Phoenix Zoo - April while learning all about zoo animals

Parents are asked to attend field trips and transport children to and from the events. There is usually a small charge for these outings and we often include lunch or snack.
